Why clients come back

Quality of work was not our sole criteria. Lamont treats his art like a business. He is responsive, he follows up, he is a true professional. It was extremely nice and refreshing to find a gifted and talented producer that also understands and grasps the business concept as well.

We have since made a couple more videos with Lamont…

T. Robert HustonStrategic partnerships executive, HR technology

I've hired Lamont for several different projects where an explainer video was needed. In each case he has delivered high quality work and ahead of schedule. Lamont has mastered making the difficult look easy and provides an end-to-end solution for your animation needs. Lamont is always my first call when I need a video produced.

Matthew BrashearCo-founder, Gardner | Brashear, nonprofit and political consulting

Lamont did 3 animated videos for one of my clients. He was very professional, excellent communication throughout the process and readily made any changes/edits we asked him to make. He had great input on the script and the whole process was very easy. I would highly recommend working with him!

Jamie HamptonSocial media marketing, Social Power Group

He immediately understood the project specs from our first conversation. He beat all deadlines and added fantastic insight to the creative process. Lamont became more of a collaborator rather than just a vendor and answered my questions even after the project was complete.

Book a Free Project Call
How long does a project take?

Most projects take 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff to delivery, depending on length, complexity, and how quickly feedback comes back. Need it sooner? Rush turnaround is available for a 25% rush fee.

What do you need from me to get started?

A script, an outline, or a one-page summary of your business or project and what the video is for. That's enough to start.

Don't have a script? Script writing is included. I use AI to help with drafts, then shape and edit every script myself.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds are included. Extra rounds start at $100.

Need changes after delivery? Small fixes are billed as a revision. Bigger updates, like reworking a training video after a policy change, get a quick quote first.

Is voiceover included?

Yes, AI voiceover is included. If you'd like a professional voice actor, that's available for an additional fee based on the talent's rate.

Are music, captions, and other languages included?

Licensed music and stock assets are included, and some projects use AI-generated music or assets. Captions are free, just ask. Languages other than English are an additional fee.

Do you use AI? Can I opt out?

It depends on the project. AI can help with script drafts, voiceover, music, and early visual ideas, but every project is directed and finished by me.

If you'd rather have no AI at all, just say so. Some pieces, like voiceover, would then use professional talent at an added cost.

What animation styles do you offer?

Character animation, motion graphics, motion comics, and more. We'll talk through what fits your audience and budget on the call. Animation made in Vyond usually costs a bit less than fully custom animation in Adobe Animate.

Who owns the finished video?

You do. I may feature the finished project on my website and social media. If your project needs to stay private, I'm happy to sign an NDA. Editable source files are available for an additional fee.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit starts the project, and the remaining 50% is due on approval, before final files are delivered. I accept most major credit and debit cards, direct debit, and Cash App Pay. Ask about other options.

The deposit is non-refundable, since it reserves your spot in the schedule and covers work already started. You'll approve the script and storyboard before any animation begins, so you always know what you're getting before the big work starts.

How does the monthly retainer work?

It's a monthly block of about 15 hours of production for ongoing content like short videos, training updates, social clips, and graphics. Retainer requests get scheduled ahead of one-time projects.

It's billed at the start of each month, with a 3-month minimum. Unused hours carry over one month, then expire. After the minimum, you can cancel with 30 days' written notice.

Do you work alone or with a team?

I lead every project personally and may bring in trusted specialists when a project needs it.

Do you work with nonprofits, churches, and schools?

Yes. Share your budget on the call and I'll suggest a scope that fits it.
